Within the same range or smaller, yes. A 42" roll cabinet takes the 42" top chest, and a 54" roll cabinet takes the 54" top chest, and so on.

If you want a bit more bench space, you can also add a smaller top chest to a larger roll cabinet, for example, a 42" roll cabinet with a 27" top chest, like the MAXIM 42" Black 23 Drawer Roll Cabinet & Top Chest Toolbox.

Just be mindful that our toolbox ranges vary in width and depth, so a top chest from one range may not sit correctly on a roll cabinet from a different range. If you're building a set, check the range sizes match up before you order.
