What warranty do Pro Series toolboxes carry?Updated 17 days ago
Just Pro Tools gives voluntary warranties on our products, on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Maxim Pro Series and Maxim products. 24 months against structural defects, and 12 months on wheels, handles and drawer slides. Warranted for indoor use only.
Maxim HD and Seville products. 12 months against manufacturing defects and faulty materials.
Stealth air tools. 12 months against faulty workmanship and materials. Accessories, including sanding pads, springs and chucks, are excluded.
Tool organisation, including Stealth branded products. Covered against manufacturing defects and faulty materials for the working life of the product, while it remains owned by the original purchaser.
Flooring tiles. 24 months against defects in materials and workmanship.
Maxim Apprentice Program. Members receive an extra 12 months of warranty on Maxim Pro Series items purchased under the program.
What is not covered. Overloading, abuse or misuse. Normal wear and tear. Using a product for a purpose it was not designed or manufactured for. Using the Maxim Pro Series, Maxim HD or Seville ranges outdoors. Accessories and consumables, where stated above. These exclusions apply to our voluntary warranties and do not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
How to make a claim. Email [email protected] with your order number, a description of the problem and photographs showing it. We respond within three business days and tell you the next step, being whether you need to return the item, whether we will inspect it, or whether we will supply a replacement part. If we ask you to return the item, we arrange and pay the freight. If an inspection shows the item is not faulty and the claim is not covered, you are responsible for the inspection and return freight; we will tell you those costs before they are incurred and will not proceed without your authorisation.
What we will do. We will repair the item, replace it, or supply replacement parts, at our option. Where the failure is a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you may choose a refund or a replacement instead.
