What's the total load capacity on Maxim roll cabinets?Updated a day ago
Total load capacity is the safe weight limit for the whole loaded cabinet, the castor rating minus the weight of the box itself. It's a lower, more conservative figure than the castor rating, since it accounts for the frame and drawer slides as well as the wheels.
Total load capacity by series:
| Series | Castor rating | Toolbox weight | Total load capacity |
|---|---|---|---|
27" | 350kg | 70kg | 280kg |
42" | 450kg | 100kg | 350kg |
54" | 900kg | 200kg | 700kg |
60" (4 castors) | 900kg | 235kg | 665kg |
60" (6 castors) | 1,350kg | 235kg | 1,115kg |
72" | 900kg | 250kg | 650kg |
Please note, these weights are for the roll cabinets only. For example, adding a top chest will reduce the total load capacity, since the top chest's own weight comes off that total.
